National Latino/Black Evangelical Alliance Formed

The Hispanic NAE joined African American Evangelical leaders in the first ever formation of a Latino/Black Evangelical Alliance. Dr. Derrick Harkins joined Rev. Samuel Rodriguez and Rev. Felix Posos in a ceremony witnessed by both Latino and African American Religious leaders. Dr. Angel Nunez and Rev. Mark Gonzalez will oversee the Alliance on behalf of the NHCLC.

The Alliance exists to tackle issues that equally impact the communities. From Teenage Pregnancy, Poverty and Gang Activity, the new Alliance will tackle via the church community these social ills and work together in outreach and evangelistic efforts.
