In a strategic partnership with Alliance For Marriage, the NHCLC is the lead Latino Organization in a call to define marriage in order to strengthen families and reinforce the threads that enable families to thrive and prosper. “This is not about being anti-gay or discriminating against anyone. This is about strengthening the family to make sure that the successful historical model which embodies the fundamental fiber of society continues to be strengthened and not undermined by activist judges. The primary deterrent in the Latino community to drug abuse, gang violence, teenage pregnancy, and other social ills is faith in God and a family with both a mother and a father.
