NHCLC & NAE Leaders to meet with Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon

WASHINGTON--(Hispanic Evangelical Press, Washington D.C.) The National Association of Evangelicals and the leadership of the Hispanic NAE will meet with the Secretary General of the United Nations in early October. “This is an unprecedented opportunity to engage the United Nations in areas of concern for the Body of Christ”, stated Rev. Sam Rodriguez, Hispanic NAE President and Executive Committee Member of the NAE. The NAE and Hispanic NHCLC officials have recently endorsed letters addressed to the United Nations regarding sex trafficking, poverty, Darfur, religious persecution and AIDS in Africa. Dr. Leith Anderson, Richard Cizik and others will host a Global Leaders Forum on relevant topics. America’s leading Latino Evangelical leaders will participate. Rev. Felix Posos, NHCLC Chair will lead the Latino delegation to the October Washington D.C. gathering.
