Congress Invites NHCLC to Provide Testimony on behalf of Faith Community in Favor of Comprehensive Immigration Reform

WASHINGTON-- Due to scheduling conflicts, NHCLC Leadership was not able to attend the committee hearings on Capitol Hill discussing the various tenants of the recently bipartisan compromise on immigration. However, The House of Representatives invited NHCLC to provide sworn testimony and such will be part of the congressional record. In addition, the NHCLC issued a Press Release asking Congress to pass legislation that would facilitate the security of the family unit.
