ABC and CNN present NHCLC position on Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Sunday May 14th, ABC World News Tonight presented the National Hispanic Christian Leadership's Conference position on Comprehensive Immigration Reform. The piece covered the NHCLC's call for both border protection and earned citizenship. The ABC piece also visited the Congregation of NHCLC Vice Chairman, Dr. David Espinoza during his resurrection service.

In addition, CNN covered The Family Research Council debate on Immigration where Rev. Samuel Rodriguez represented the NHCLC and the Hispanic Evangelical view on the matter. Pastor Sam was joined by Dr. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention as Rep. Tom Tancredo and others countered with a security enforcement only platform. CNN's Lou Dobbs presented Rev. Rodriguez's scripture reading as an example of the use of religion in the heated debate.
