Dr. Miranda hosted top Latino Evangelical Leaders in an event themed “The Gathering”. “The objective was to recognize next generation leadership and pass the baton with the affirmation that we bless you and support you”, stated Miranda. The NHCLC recognizes Dr. Miranda’s vital role in opening the pathway for so many of the blessings the Latino Church is currently experiencing particularly in the area of National influence. Latino Evangelicals need a forum to gather academic, scholarly and research data that will enable us to contextualize our narrative.

CNN named Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, “The leader of the Hispanic Evangelical movement”. The Wall St. Journal identified him as one of America’s 7 most influential Hispanic Leaders, and the only religious leader on the list. Meanwhile the San Francisco Chronicle described Samuel as one of the 6 Leaders of the New Evangelical Leadership. Charisma Magazine Identifies Rev. Rev. Dr. Daniel F. Flores is an ordained Elder of The United Methodist Church. He holds the following earned degrees: AAS, San Antonio College; BA, Southeastern College; MA, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; MDiv, Princeton Theological Seminary; MPhil and PhD, Drew University; and MSLIS, Drexel University (2012).

Dr. Gilberto Velez grew up in Puerto Rico. He earned his Medical Doctor Degree at Universidad Central del Este and a Master in Public Health from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas. After graduation and training, he practice his career both, clinically and academics. Education has been his passion right after his ministerial vocation.

Dr. Gus Reyes serves as the Director of the Hispanic Education Initiative/Affinity Ministries for the Baptist General Convention of Texas. He moved to this position after serving as the Director of the Service Center. He served as ethnic consultant for the Center of Strategic Evangelism. During his service as ethnic consultant several evangelistic events experienced record attendance of over 3,700 at the 2004 Hispanic Youth and Singles Congreso, and over 3,000 in attendance at the 2004 Hispanic Evangelism Conference.

Samuel Santana is an Administrative Bishop of the Church of God who began his full-time ministry in 1985.  He has served the Lord in many capacities, among them; International Evangelist, State Youth and Christian Education Director, State Evangelism and Home Missions Director, State Secretary Treasurer, Coordinator of Hispanic Ministries for the International Youth and Christian Education Department in Cleveland, Tennessee.  Beginning in 1999, he and his wife served for ten years as Senior Pastors of New Life Ministries, a vibrant congregation in Tucson Arizona that experienced tremendou

Pastor Danny earned his BA degree from Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, California. He also earned a Masters in Education at Chapman College, Orange, California and Masters of Divinity at Melodyland School of Theology, Anaheim, California. He was honored with an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree in 1983. For the past 33 years, he has Pastored Templo Calvario in Santa Ana, California. Under his guidance the church has grown to be the largest bi-lingual Hispanic congregation in the U.S.A. Templo Calvario has established 75 satellite churches in the United States and in Latin America.

Abundant Life Church of God is served in a full-time capacity by Pastor Eliezer Bonilla. Pastor Bonilla was born April 30, 1964 in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. He immigrated to the United States in 1976 as a resident alien and became a naturalized citizen in 1993. He and his wife, Dorcas, have 3 children. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies in 1987 and received recognition on Who's Who of College and University seniors in his final years at Lee University. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1992.

Pastor Israel Bermúdez González along with his wife Pastor Zaida Bermudez-Santiago have over 30 years of experience in leadership. Israel started his ministry at a very young age. He was born in Adjuntas Puerto Rico and moved to San Sebastian del Pepino. Being son of pastors and having eleven siblings enabled the Bermudez family to take an active role in their community. Israel's parents founded seven churches. Everybody from the smallest to the oldest child had a role in the ministry.
