Daniel F.

Rev. Dr. Daniel F. Flores is an ordained Elder of The United Methodist Church. He holds the following earned degrees: AAS, San Antonio College; BA, Southeastern College; MA, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; MDiv, Princeton Theological Seminary; MPhil and PhD, Drew University; and MSLIS, Drexel University (2012).
Prior to his current position, he was Director of Studies for the Charles Wesley Heritage Centre in the historic home of Methodist hymn-writer Charles Wesley. In that role, he convened two major international conferences and directed immersion experiences in Wesleyan studies. In 2003, Dr. Flores founded The Hispanic Wesleyan Society (Sociedad Wesleyana), an international organization dedicated to the promotion of Wesleyan theological education for Hispanics. He has taught various courses for Southern Methodist University - Perkins School of Theology, Perkins Youth School of Theology, and the United Methodist Regional Course of Study School. He has also taught courses in the Wesleyan movement for new pastors and lay missioners.
He has written numerous articles for El Interprete magazine and contributed to the Wesley Study Bible. He is a member of The World Methodist Council and The General Commission on Archives & History.
Dr. Flores co-pastors La Trinidad UMC-Fort Worth and helps oversee the Eugenia Smith Dream & Go Center with his wife Rev. Thelma Herrera Flores, MAR, Yale Divinity School.
