National Hispanic Evangelical Voter Registration Campaign, FUERZA 2011
As America's largest Hispanic Christian and Evangelical Organization, we have a moral responsibility to engage in a prophetic witness platform for the purpose of leading a national righteousness and justice movement. Our commitment to Life, Family, Great Commission, Education, Youth, Justice and Stewardship must be accompanied by anointed and biblical activism.
For that matter, we have partnered with a wonderful organization, United in Purpose, to launch a historic National Hispanic Evangelical Voter Registration Campaign, FUERZA 2011. Via our local churches, we can register Hispanics to vote in support of biblical values and change our nation for the Glory of Christ! Accordingly we are providing three ways people can register:
1. At the local church: Sunday Voter Registration: Every Sunday at the end of the service, Pastors will announce that a voter registration table is available. Pastors are encouraged to acquire the necessary forms from their respective county offices or from John Murillo, our national coordinator who stands ready to provide posters, forms and information in order to facilitate the process.
2. On the internet: www.VOTENHCLC.com. We have a web portal that will enable anyone to register via the internet. This is a quick and easy way to register. The link is also available on our site, www.nhclc.org, www.hispanicevangelicals.com.
3. Via Telephone Text: Yes, you and your members can register to vote in your city and state via a text message. Simply, send a text message to 1-510-771-7974. You will then be prompted to forward your email address and zip code.
It's time to reconcile the message of salvation with a horizontal witness of transformation. Silence and apathy must be replaced with Hope in Christ.
Fuerza!
