Prominent Evangelical Leaders and Mega Church Pastors; Clemente Maldonado, Wilfredo DeJesus, Steve Perea, Rigo Magana join NHCLC
In response to the mandates stipulated by the Executive Committee of the NHCLC and as a result of the unprecedented growth in the influence, power and size of the Hispanic Evangelical Community, the Nation's leading Hispanic Christian Organization added to its National Board of Directors some of the Nations top Latino Christian Leaders. Appointed from the Midwest Region, Assembly of God Superintendent, Clemente Maldonado(pictured at the right) who supervises the entire Midwest region for the Nations largest Latino membership denomination, the Assemblies of God oversees one of the largest and fastest growing Latino regions.
Rev. Clemente Maldonado was born in Corpus Christi, TX and raised in Oklahoma. He graduated from Latin American Bible Institute in El Paso, TX in 1978. He is an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God since 1989.Rev. Maldonado is the Superintendent in the Midwest Latin District. He became District Superintendent in 2006; He has been a District official for 10 years, and served as the Secretary/Treasurer since 1996. He also serves on the Board of Regents for North Central University. He has pastored churches in Oklahoma, Michigan, and Aurora, IL.
